I did not stay in the hotel. We were staying in Mayrhofen and wanted to try a high end restaurant in the area so decided on Sieghard hotel restaurant. We were not disappointed. We had the tasting menu with selected wine courses and it was fantastic. We eat 2-3 times per year in high end restaurants all over the world - including California, New York, Germany, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, etc. and we rank this among the very best we have had. The food was well prepared, well presented, the service is outstanding, and we love the focus on high quality local ingredients and building a gourmet table on the Tirolian tradition and ingredients (mostly.) So you had a feeling you were in the Tirol Alp...
Ohne Zweifel einer der besten und wunderbarsten Restaurantbesuche, die ich je gemacht habe. Die Verkostungspalette, die Zubereitung und der Service waren absolut fabelhaft! Auch die Einrichtung des Ortes ist sehr schön, mit viel moderner Kunst und Energie, die in die kleinsten Details gesteckt wird, was ein angenehmes, einladendes Gefühl vermittelt. Das 1975 als B B gegründete und 1989 um ein eigenes Restaurant erweiterte Unternehmen hat sich mittlerweile zu einem sehr angesehenen Restaurant entwickelt, das ich wärmstens empfehlen kann. Meine erste Reaktion war, warum sie nicht im Michelin-Führer aufgeführt sind, aber anscheinend deckt der Führer für Österreich nicht mehr das ganze Land ab!...
Sieghard 's restaurant has performed consistently very well all the times I have visited during 2016-17. Half board presents a delicious set menu every evening with a very good cheese buffet on Thursdays.The restaurant 's dishes are all clearly above what what you would expect to have...in a Austrian hotel restaurant. I will be back again in March to enjoy! The restaurant truly lives up to the slogan of a small hotel with a grand kitchen!

my wife and I spend the evening for our anniversary at Sieghards and enjoyed the "Geniesser Dinner" . Excellent and attentive Service, well balanced menue of appetizer, main course and dessert and accompanying wines, a perfect balance of Food and Wine, congratulations to the chef and Sommelier !The experience was well worth every euro !!

Excellent quality, very varied menu, plentiful, lovely choices - presentation outstanding. Tried a few new things out - staff always able to translate into English if we struggled. Outdoor seating area for when it was warm enough - top quality service.

having read various reviews, and as we were in various fine dining places we decided to visit with the kids. We took sharing menu. Everything we tasted was very good, but did not have the extra thing u (we) would expect.
Nice hotel. The kitchen is very delicious. The town itself is very beautiful and romantick. Everybody is very polite and helpfull.
