Hotel Wagrainerhof- a la carte Restaurant

Unsere Wohnung liegt direkt gegenüber von diesem Restaurant. Unser erster Besuch vor vielen Jahren war aus Bequemlichkeit, danach kehren wir jedes Jahr wieder zurück. Dies ist ein familiengeführtes Restaurant und ein angeschlossenes Hotel. Das Restaurant ist vom Essbereich für Gäste getrennt. Auf der Speisekarte stehen viele traditionelle österreichische Gerichte und mehr lokale Gerichte. Sehr schöne und große Auswahl für Kinder. Unser absoluter Favorit ist das Chateaubriand, das tatsächlich mindestens 3 Pence serviert. Dieses Jahr haben wir für Heiligabend reserviert. We had a normal dinner here and a second time for new Years eve. Both time the food was very nice and the waiter was great. The food came very quickly both times. For new year's we had a special menu. Not very cheap but excellent food. After the first dinner we had a drink at the bar, nice bar with very nice separate smoking area.

Went two days in a row to have the roasted chicken coated by pumpkin seeds salad as well as i've visited this restaurant for a lunch before couple of years ago and the tomato soup taste as good as i've tried it before .. the salzburg nockerl taste delicious its a must to try..

We often travel to Wagrain, and often we finish our days here with a wienerschnitzel at Wagrainerhof. On the wienerschnitzel scale it is a 5, the best in town. Spiced up with fast, friendly and caring service - way to go ????

After a long day we wanted to eat a small dinner. I ordered the "forel". It was well prepared! And it tastes delicious. Good craft beer as well. I had a nice evening.
