We absolutely love dining here! Every time, the food is phenomenal. The service is excellent, from the hostess to the waitstaff and the team clearing tables. Tonight, our waiter Jason provided excellent recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu and the specials. We started with the ribs appetizer – it was delicious and a must-try! Then we enjoyed the BBQ shrimp with grits and the incredible Caesar salad. We capped off the meal with the peach crisp, which was so amazing that I’d return just for that! The restaurant itself is beautiful, and we especially enjoy sitting outside. We're even hoping to reach out to Doug about possibly hosting our wedding reception here!
While there were a few hiccups, like our food taking longer to arrive than expected (we were a large group and they seemed a bit understaffed), it was understandable. It was a bit surprising when the birthday girl's meal was served incorrectly, but when she finally received it, it was perfect. Despite these issues, the overall experience was enjoyable, but not flawless. The food was delicious enough for me to overlook the mishaps and I would definitely consider returning. I would recommend visiting with a smaller group and sitting on the patio, which has a great ambiance! It’s an ideal spot for a date night.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant on a Saturday evening. The food, service, and ambiance on the front patio were all exceptional. There was also a nice band playing. Our server was outstanding and offered great recommendations. I tried the half chicken jambalaya and the grilled oysters, both of which were delicious. I will definitely be back!

I had a fantastic experience tonight! The band was great, and the food was delicious. A big thank you to Jason for being such a attentive and generous waiter! Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

Went here on a Saturday night last weekend. What a great cajun place the food was delicious and the old fashions were great. I will definitely go back again.
