We decided to go to Maison du Jazz at a last minute to celebrate Father's Day and did we ever get pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be our best Father's Day ever. The restaurant has very unique and beautiful chandelier decoration. We were seated on the balcony with a very good view of the band. The singer and the music we excellent with many popular songs in French and English. The atmosphere was inviting, unpretentious and warm. The food was good and well presented. My sister took me here for a date night when I was in town to visit and it was such a great experience! This was my first experience ever at a place like this so I was very excited! We were sat right in front of the stage so it was an absolute vibe! Our service was so great.She recommended the calamari which was also a first for me I enjoyed it very much! It was cooked perfectly the breading was so delicious all on its own let alone the delicious sauce for dipping!For my main I had the truffle tortellini which was incredible. The flavour was outstanding, there isn’t a single thing I would have changed about the entire experience!
The highlight of this restaurant is the live music. The venue is beautifully decorated with numerous chandeliers and friendly staff. The atmosphere is fantastic and remains enjoyable throughout the night. The waitstaff is well-dressed and very polite. The food was delicious. We celebrated a birthday party and sat upstairs, which was ideal for conversation. The prices are a bit high, but worth it. My only issue was with parking - I had to park across the street because the lot was full. Overall, a fantastic restaurant in Laval that I highly recommend.

The last Tuesday of every month this place hosts a comedy night. Anglo comedy in Laval!You have to reserve to go. It was packed on a Tuesday at 8:30.The show was so good! So many great comedians. Some of them have performed at Just For Laughs. They were all funny. Charles, the host, is both funny and likeable.My margarita was great. Reasonably priced considering that we got to watch a show. The people at my table loved the nachos.We’re coming back for the comedy and for a jazz night.
This restaurant was visually stimulating and entertaining. If you're seeking a great atmosphere, this is the place for you. The live band was fantastic and the customer service was exceptional. Even though we didn't have a reservation on a busy Saturday night, they were able to accommodate us and find us a better seat. Overall, a fantastic place, although the food was just okay.
One of the coolest places I have ever been to in my life! The band was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing. The lobster mac and cheese was incredibly delicious! This was the perfect spot for a night out. They also had great alcoholic drinks.
