Oh my goodness! I have lived in Xenia for 3 years and honestly up until recently I had never even had Thai food. This place is AMAZING!!!! If you have ever had Thai or have ever thought about trying Thai, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! If you're like me, I can't handle spicy and you can actually order the food with no spice! We started with the shrimp blankets and crab Rangoon for appetizers and let me tell you, they are on point! It came out hot, the sauce was so tasty, crispy and the Rangoons were full. Then I ordered the pineapple tangerine chicken with no spice and just wow. The fruit was fresh, the chicken was cooked to perfection and whatever that sauce was, was phenomenal. My husband orde...
Food was hot, fresh and mine had good flavor. My daughter's beef pepper steak was a little bland and small portion for price. A level 2 is almost too spicy. The service is lacking. Although he was very kind, he didn't offer refills of water and automatically added 20 percent gratuity on our bill for a party of 7. (One of the seven was two years old). I felt that was a little steep for mediocre service. I am a notorious over-tipper but this didn't feel fair. I'm not sure that I would come back.
Positively the best Thai food in Dayton, hands down! The staff is always very friendly, and the meals are always made fresh, hot, and exactly to order! The Drunken Noodle is our favorite dish. Every time we have friends or family come from out of town and we want to go somewhere delicious, we choose House of Thai it’s seriously that good, AND that great of an experience every time! Carry out or dine in either way, this restaurant does not disappoint!
Ordered through DoorDash consisting of several orders. The curry dishes were good, but others fell short. Shrimp fried rice was mediocre with the shrimp tasting as if it was previously frozen. The sweet and sour chicken was too salty to eat. Three of us tasted it before rendering it inedible and threw it out. The crab ragoon was over fried. Will not order again as it is subpar compared to other Thai restaurants. Was hopeful but quite disappointed.

Excellent food. We got a to go order and everything was amazing. Ordering online was easy and it was ready promptly. The level 5 spice was actually spicy in a way we enjoyed a lot. The curries were superb—complex and flavorful. The chicken coconut soup was my favorite. We didn’t care much for the Chinese hot and sour—it was bland. Crab Rangoon were also very tasty. I’m looking forward to having more dishes from this excellent restaurant
So I actually meant to order from a different Thai restaurant, one that was closer to my house and has a similar name. This is where I accidentally placed an order from, and I'm glad I did! I loved the food I ordered (just a few appetizers because I just wanted something light) and the building was so cute, I loved all the flowers around it. I would love to come back here for a lunch date with my husband and try some entrees.
One best place to eat thai in Dayton OH. We got curry puff for appetizer. Entree drunken noodle and basil fried rice. Curry puff was the best10/10. Drunken noodle was so good 9/10. Basil fried rice was above average I would say7/10.We usually prefer spicy food I ordered for Thai hot and the spicyness was as expected. Definitely a must try place.
Ordered take out thru doordash for the first time. Everything that was ordered was amazing! the BEST crab rangoon I have ever had. Food was fresh and hot when arrived. We ordered crab rangoon, veggie spring rolls, pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp pad see ew. Highly recommend.

The House of Thai has menu items for a variety of different tastes. The medium heat Pad Thai was very delicious with beef. The staff was friendly and checked on us the right amount of time. There is plenty of seating for large or small groups.
