This restaurant experience was absolutely unacceptable. The appetizers were cold and undercooked, and the meat in my dish was expired and extremely raw. I had to send it back. I couldn't even bring myself to try the Philly cheesesteak sandwich because the meat was dirty, cold, and dry. The staff rinsed the meat and brought it back out. The chef or owner was rude and yelled at the employees. I even found an ant in my water cup and a dead bug in the water. There were multiple health code violations. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you value your health. Additionally, there was silverware that had not been properly sanitized. Use to like coming here… I ordered something to go at the front area I made sure twice I could sub out my hash brown with toast she nodded yes and kept talking in another language to her co worker barely paying attention to me so I come back after getting my order and told her they gave me fries instead and she got a whole attitude about it and voided my money back without me even asking even before I even gave the food back mind you I was actually going to pay for the order anyways which is biscuits and gravy and just buy some toast but after that I gave them the food back and got my receipt back for my tip that I didn’t have to leave what a let down
We googled breakfast after landing early in the morning at SEA. Our tired family of 4 parked a fresh rental at a top result and crossed our fingers. Honestly we didn 't think much of the exterior when we arrived but boy were we pleasantly suprised. A kind and courteous waitress helped us to a comfy booth in the finely wood-panneled interior. The old-school building was clean and well decorated. We ordered a variety of breakfast items which were cooked perfectly. We enjoyed trying several kinds of homemade syrup and sipping endless coffee before leaving to explore downtown Seattle.
We have been ordering delivery from this restaurant for the past 2 years and have always been pleased with the accuracy of our order and the fact that it arrives hot. This time, we decided to dine in and were impressed by the charming atmosphere of the restaurant. The comfort food was exceptional, earning 5 stars. I am happy to see that this restaurant is still open and I hope it continues to thrive while maintaining its unique identity. I look forward to coming back soon with my family to hopefully make it a regular tradition once again. As a child and into my teenage years, my grandparents used to bring us here on Sundays for brunch (although I always opted for breakfast) and we always loved the atmosphere and food.
What an amazing place!Definitely super popular,as there was a little bit of wait,only around 20 mins,but they have cute lobby with sofas... Food came out hot and portions are enormously huge,so we actually shared and still couldn't finish all...Stuff is very polite and helpful! What a great place!
Breakfast items were great. The BLTA also was good. My husband had the captains platter which he thought had too much breading. Standard diner fare. Their banana cream pie and cheesecake were average too.
