We attended a local event and were delighted to find Hue's food truck there. This plant-based restaurant has been on my radar for a while, so I was eager to give it a try. They were offering samples of fried oyster mushrooms, and we were blown away by how flavorful they were. My husband ended up ordering an oyster mushroom basket with fries. We arrived on Sunday at 11:10 AM, and although the doors appeared to be locked, there were customers inside. Someone eventually let us in, and we placed our order. It turns out that the kitchen was closing early due to some issue, but instead of putting a sign on the door, they chose to ignore incoming customers and didn't answer the phone. We received our food and left, but unfortunately, they forgot to include our nachos. Now, no one is answering the phone for a refund. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
I am quite a picky eater and was initially skeptical about vegan food, but everything changed when I visited Hue Cafe! My very first vegan dish was the shrimp street tacos, and they were absolutely delicious! I also tried the hibiscus iced tea, and wow, it was fantastic! While I can't say I'll go completely vegan, I will definitely return whenever I'm in the mood for vegan cuisine. If you're considering changing your diet and aren't sure where to start, I highly recommend trying out Hue Cafe. You won't be disappointed!

Hue Cafe Apothecary has the best vegan shrimp I've ever had. The sauce reminded me of the sauce used with orange chicken. I enjoyed the bread that accompanied the vegan cheesesteak. Additionally, the vegan chocolate chip cookie tasted like your typical vegan cookie the mac n cheese is not something I would recommend. I never left a bad review before but we had a disappointing experience after seeing their 4.5 stars and social media. They were sold out of a lot of things on their current menu and we waited a while for our order in person. To summarize, the mushroom pasta was in a pool of oil and the chick’n fungi sandwich had a hair in it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
