Impromptu lunch with a friend today. We had tel lovely big pots of tea and a sandwich lunch. I had Brie and bacon wholemeal toastie. My sandwich was full of. Geese and very tasty bacon and was served with coleslaw and a side salad. The salad is always quite heavy with red onion but tasty non the less My friend had a belt on white bread, no coleslaw this time but a nice side salad The sandwich took a little time to arrive but this is because they are made fresh and you can taste it too. The bread is fresh and soft Highly recommend
Although we called in at lunchtime and it was very busy, however the service was excellent. The young lady quickly took our order, the teas and coffee were with us within minutes and the main course was on our table in less than 10 minutes. With it being so busy we were expecting a long delay, but that was not the case The size of the meals was enormous and most importantly freshly cooked. We shall certainly visit again and the best restaurant we have visited in the Sudbury area. Highly Recommended
Have eaten here many times and always been very happy. After a recent visit i realised I'd never left a review and thought it about time I did. After 5 of us arrived on a busy Saturday lunch. Food was lovely. Large portions for all and the veggie among us was happy with the selection available to him. I would also note there is a number of staff who have worked here a long time. To me that shows a good level of job satisfaction.
I ordered the fish and chips at this restaurant. It was served freshly cooked and steaming hot in just 10 minutes. I must say, it was the tastiest fish and chips I have ever had. Typically, we order the same dish at a nearby restaurant that is not as good and twice the price. While Huffers may be small, crowded, and busy, the food was absolutely superb.

Called in today for another splendid lunch, food cooked perfectly using quality ingredients and all severed up by attentive polite staff, my partner enjoying the freshly cooked pasta and myself the all day brunch that will fill anyone, other cafes in town have a hard act to follow and some of them fall well short. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant where I was charged £4.90 for one slice of toast and a tomato. When I raised this issue with the manager, they insisted that the charge was correct based on their till system. This was surprising to me as the overall menu at this restaurant is usually considered good value for money.
This is the second time we have visited Huffers. The food is very well cooked, large portions, served lovely and hot, decent quality ingredients and very reasonably priced. Yes you may have to wait a few minutes sometimes but is a very busy cafe. The staff seem very pleasant.
The breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic and offered big portions at a great price. It was very busy for midday on a Saturday, but we didn't have to wait long for a table for two. We will definitely be back again.
