I always get into trouble when I give an honest assessment. I don't want to call back, I don't want any other chance, I just say it like I see it, so someone responsible can adapt. we have made reservations, it was our jubilee clear, we were in the widest corner of the restaurant, near an open door, where only feet outside, was a pool full of screaming children with a pool party. it may have been the quietest part of the restaurant, there was a single musician who played to a space of fifty diner, with whom ampere himself as he was in wembly stage. Wasn't expecting much with the reviews of this place. We ate here to use some of our Hilton diamond credit from the hotel. The server was excellent. I had the Kahlua pork pizza. The marinara sauce on it is completely unnecessary with the addition of the bbq sauce. The taste was very good. Prices are a little bit higher than comparable restaurants in Hilo, but not out of line. It's convenient to have the restaurant at the hotel for takeout back to your room. Happy hour is 4pm-8pm with some nice drink specials. We ordered a couple pizzas the next night to take back to our room. I would suggest reservations if you don't want to wait, since their seating is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.

unfortunate that the only thing that my husband could eat to our food (gluten milk free) was obviously no option. the process of working together with our blessing took long until we knew what was safe to order. ends up ordering what we don't really want or pay for, but considering that we don't have any reservations otherwise where restaurants should order more options for those with specific diets or at least the option open, regardless of which particular reason it is.

Although we were not a fan of their breakfast menu at all, I still appreciate them high for dinner and lunch menus. We stayed at the hotel for a week, so unnecessary to say, we tried a few things here. Pizza was delicious, ribs were tender, frits were addicted, jumpo shrimp cocktails, drinks were perfect, and the views were the cherry up for us. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Hula Hula, located in the Hilton Doubletree in Hilo, has very good food. There twice during our stay. Had the Pepperoni Pizza and Cheeseburger Fries for lunch and a few nights later, the Fish Tacos and Cheeseburger Fries had. Everything was very good. Also several drinks in the bar area and pool. Good clean location and good atmosphere.

they have live music between the main dunning room and bar. right in the middle and it's too loud. I'm sorry, I like live music, but if it's overlaid, it kills the atmosphere. our service was affected by the noise, because our poor server simply couldn't hear us.

Yes, I would recommend for the food. The band was way too loud. Could barely have a conversation. In fact the waitress brought the wrong drink because she did not hear the order correctly. All of the wait help were very attentive.

Nice chill spot. Drinks and food are displayed well. Poolside seating, ocean views, and a bar. Feels like Kona almost. Nearest parking lot is sometimes closed, only downside. Music at night.
