The restaurant is very expensive. The large orange juice was nearly $5 and tasted so watered down that it resembled Tang. The Eggs Benedict cost $13 and consisted of one muffin, two eggs, and ham, along with a very small fruit cup. The plate looked empty without any hash browns. Unfortunately, Smitty's has closed down, so this is my only option. I will skip breakfast in Estevan and eat lunch wherever work takes me. I am disappointed that the establishment is taking advantage of the situation. The service is slow and the staff seem more interested in socializing in the back, even when the place is empty.
This was my 15th visit to this restaurant and I have never had a bad meal. I have tried the burger, pork chops, turkey schnitzel, and half a lobster among other dishes. The portions are good for those who want to enjoy good food but also watch their weight, as they offer half portions that still leave you feeling satisfied. The waitstaff has always been attentive and friendly, although they may be a bit shorthanded during busy times which can result in a slight wait. Overall, the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Went to this restaurant for a family lunch. Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the place was severely under staffed. The food took a long time to come out and the waitresses did their best, I guess, when you could find them. Many tables went...bussed while we were there. The food was ok, but the poor girl put the wrong plates down in front of the wrong people. I guess maybe it was just a bad day. On a high note, the food didn't make anyone sick.
I visited Humptys with my colleagues for a breakfast meeting. We were seated in a nice quiet booth, which provided privacy as the restaurant wasn't too crowded. we were greeted at the door by a friendly waitress and shown on our table. all the questions we had about the menu were answered politely. eating came quite fast and it was hot and delicious. our coffee sauces were also kept full. great service. all around and the restaurant was clean with beautiful decor.
we normally like humpty’s to breakfast and lunch and decided to try an evening meal. the Asian salmon was overboiled and dry, and the baked chicken was not at all sharp. we're coming back, but stay with breakfast and lunch.
Finished up work and went here for a lunch , was very good and you can order morning food to night food all day long, its walking distance to the best western I stayed in
