I arrived here just before closing time for the night. The atmosphere may not have been the greatest, but the food definitely made up for it! I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and was pleased to find that it was a generous portion for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back for more. This is one of the best Asian restaurants in the city, if not the best. The service was excellent and the meal type was dinner. The price per person is between $10-20. I would rate the food and service a 5 and the atmosphere a 3. I have been ordering from this restaurant for over 10 years. They are always consistent with quality food and generous portions. When I call ahead for pick-up, my orders are always ready on time. I highly recommend this place. The dining area is basic, but the majority of customers prefer take-out. The service and food both receive a rating of 5, while the atmosphere is rated 4. Recommended dishes include General Tso's Tofu, Wonton Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Boneless Spare Ribs. There is plenty of parking available in the free parking lot.
I’ve been ordering from Hunan New Jade for over 12 years. No other Chinese takeout in north Bergen county compares. The quality and prices are unbeatable. Fresh vegetables, delicious sauces, white meat chicken and other high quality proteins, great dumplings, soups, and more. I recommend the shrimp chow fun, shrimp or pork dumplings, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, Happy Family, Four Seasons, egg Foo Young, Shrimp w/ Lobster Sauce, etc. You can’t go wrong here. To me this is the best chinese food in the area. Everything is seasoned and cooked well, the flavor is great and the prices aren't too bad either. This is my go to spot for lunch, great food!
