meine familie und einige freunde aus zürich beschlossen, im august auf die hundwiler höhe zu gehen. die wanderung dauert etwa stunden und führt über steile hügel, aber wenn sie oben ankommen, gibt es atemlose, atemberaubende aussichten auf den säntis und die umliegenden gebiete. Das Restaurant mit der Gartenterrasse ist wunderschön. Wir haben wegen der Feiertage reserviert und es war so nett, uns einen Tisch für draußen und drinnen zu reservieren, wegen des möglichen Regensturms. Sicherlich kam der Regen und wir gingen hinein und alle anderen Gäste rannten in Deckung und versuchten, einen Platz zu finden. Sie wissen wirklich, was der Service ist. the aim was to taste the soup in the famous restaurant and enjoy the view. after 1.5 hours of hiking we have ordered rösti. the food was a huge disappointment: soup boring with a few pieces of wool and bouillon made of powder; rösti bathed in oil, much too much roasted and even more salted. to the happiness there was enough bread to cover the evil taste. the personal sass bored on the bank, you had to get it first. we will never eat again - much rather simply take a sandwich.A proverb says: "the profitable restaurant must have 3 success factors: the location, the location and ... the location." and this is fantastic and the walk there allal value!...in contrast to the restaurant.
the climb to the hundwilerhöchi takes from zürchersmühle depending on the selected route approx. 1h 15 to 1h 40, the plan of the terrace rewards one for the walked height meters. beautifully located, on alpstein and to the lake. service staff friendly, dine, na yes. grilling works, salat fits, breakfast: brot, butter, jam, cheese and coffee tastes nothing! in the whole restaurant catastrophic smell, "grass appenzeller!" absolutely impossible to eat! a beer or juice and fast on!
with beautiful weather is a hike to the dogwiler height absolutely recommended. the lookout is great, the staff very friendly and accommodating. the food was like you imagined at such a place: a relatiw small card, but fresh, lush and very good.We are definitely coming back.
Ich freue mich sehr über den Rest oben bei Schnee und Wind. immer beliebt bei Wanderern. traditionelles Dekor. Es gab eine sehr leckere Wildwurst und einen guten gemischten Salat. Freundliches Personal.
