I went to the restaurant this morning at 8:30 a.m. to get some breakfast, but was disappointed to find it empty. I stood at the counter for some time while the only two employees seemed to be engrossed in their private conversation, ignoring my presence. It was frustrating when one of them looked at me twice but still continued to ignore me. I left without making a purchase and do not plan on returning. It's a shame to see teenagers working without proper customer service training.
As I've noted with other big-chain franchises they are all pretty much the same. You know exactly what the decor and menu is going to be like and what you're going to get. However, not all franchisees operate equally and on many occasions this one has been a let-down on coffee, breakfast or when I've been hanging out for an post-painting-a-bedroom afternoon burger. The staff are helpful enough but it all seems just a bit neglected in style and service for this brand.

Food is usual HJ's fare, but the restaurant is very dirty. Spills on floor, napkins, food and rubbish under tables and chairs. The flies were terrible. eating is usually hj’s farewell, but the restaurant is very dirty. spills on the floor, serviettes, eat and müll under tables and chairs. the flying were terrible. all the tables were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a week! big! the last time we dive.
I frequented this restaurant often because they have a great playground for children. However, it seems that the management needs to pay more attention to maintenance and cleanliness, as their staff only seems to take orders. Don't just rely on past successes.
Stella is hands down the best employee at this restaurant. She always delivers my food on time, provides friendly service, and communicates well. I am grateful to her for consistently providing me with great dining experiences. Thank you, Stella!
