Hunter Last Saturday S held our daughter's wedding for 55 guests. Everything was just perfection served by the canaps along with the champagne at the beginning, through the amazing variety of three course meals, all served and beautifully presented, produced to the bacon sandwiches without asking for the end of the evening. The staff of this facility under the direction of Lee were simply wonderful. They went through the whole seamlessly and smiled through. Eve, the Event Manager, helped us to draw everything together with only three weeks of reference to the big day, she was excellent in her dealing with everything and her attention to detail ensured that all the wishes of the happy couple...
Great for a Sunday lunch or dinner. It's advisable to book in advance which we hadn't but we didn't have to wait too long for a table. We had the baked camembert which was glazed with truffle oil plus crudités, bread and olives to share as our starter. Then we had the Beef Wellington which serves 2 and was also delicious. Will definitely be back for more.
I didn't go in, we had a car problem and stopped outside the pub. The security man, Zimba, came to check if we're okay. Really beautiful, supportive security. I work in customer service myself, I know how hard it is to come with good security that makes people feel welcome and safe. Definitiver Diamant, this business is happiness.
Cosy feeling with interesting decor. Good choice of drowned beers. Friendly and dedicated staff. I had the Lamb Roast and Beef Wellington and would order again. Fish and chips were, however, quite heavy and exaggerated. Nevertheless, a great place for a pint or quality pub food!
Had the beef wellington for 2 it was very tasty!! The fries were just ok in my opinion. I do wish they'd provided a steak knife for the beef wellington. It was very difficult to cut it with a butter knife lol. Also spoiler alert: the bathrooms are...something
We had a wonderful 30th celebration here edgy decor within a grand old pub gave off a good vibe, and the food was excellent. The Beef Wellington a total standout. The staff were polite and super accommodating. Thanks for the great night!
The waitress was polite and took care of the guests. He even proposed to us to organize an additional table for us on the terrace by bringing one from the inside. He deserves it all. Food was good.
My day with my friends spent here. Random Pick, well spent evening. Friendly bartenders, good music and apparently the bathrooms are something special
Amazing king prawn starter menu amongst other menus. Great warm and inviting atmosphere, will visit again.
