We went in for a late lunch. We were seated in an almost empty restaurant in a corner with no view but directly in front of chill drafts and next to the kitchen. The service was slow and disinterested. The children 3 of them were given colouring pad menus and two crayons.We ordered the chicken combo and the beef ribs all other meals were kids meals.The chicken arrived so cold it was inedible and the ribs were too dry to eat with the hickory sauce just on the surface. The charges were horrific the kids chicken burger with NO salad was charged at $22.00 and then a further charge of $2.00 for a slice of cheese not ordered. The kid's milkshakes were $8.00 each. Never again!
My grandson is 23. Likes his steak! likes his meat! and been used to good family meals. This was a birthday celebration, so he didn't want anyone to be in the kitchen. He chose Hippo Creek but it was closed. Hurricanes Grill was in that spot - and looked like a good 'meat/ steak' place. I booked it for 10 people.Loved, loved, loved it. We will all l be going back - and soon.The steak was exactly as asked. The ribs were great. Next time we'll do some of the specials. We'll be back many times. Thanks to the staff and all the crew there. Well done.
We had heard mixed reviews since this was taken over so we tried it as hippo creek was our favourite. I first was not impressed as soon as I phoned and booked through a call centre in Sydney to book Hillarys! They couldn't speak English well and couldn't guarantee where I would be able to sit. Anyway the food was expensive and average .Staff were good and friendly but it's just not like it used to be. We won't return unfortunately.
Came for dinner for a friends birthday on the weekend, from the get go our waitress 'Jess' was polite, attentive and prompt. Food & drinks were all brought out fast and everyone enjoyed their meals. When it was time for the birthday cake, 4 of the waitresses came and sang happy birthday for us. Overall we had a great dining experience and Jess should be commended on her level of customer service.

Environment was great, however the food is quite disappointing and we had to wait very long.Ordered a pork rib, that was uncooked and I decided to ask them to cooked it again for us but turns out to be to dry after.Portion is big and pricey as well for the food quality they served.The staff apologise and gave us discount as part of the compensation.
If you like your meat then Hurricane Bar and Grill is perfect. Speciality ribs and steaks are highly recommended. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and on hand to assist in making your visit a positive experience. Situated at Hilary's boat harbour overlooking the marina beach it is an ideal evening spot. A place you can keep going back to.

Went to Hurricane's grill on Saturday night. The service was excellent and the food was really good. I had the ribs and steak combo, and would certainly go back for more !

We waited for at least an hour from when we ordered to when we received our food. The food wasn't even hot. Steak was average. Definitely not worth the money.
