This is a relatively new establishment that has taken over the old bakery in Hurst, which had been a sandwich shop and café for several years. The owners have a keen focus on quality, creating a menu that emphasizes taste and authenticity. While there is no delivery option available, many nearby residents can easily walk to the location, making it worth the short trip for those coming from farther away. Our favorites include the tiger chicken and lamb madras. Additionally, the village shop right on the street offers a good selection of wine and beer to complement your meal.
The food is simply fantastic! I'm consistently impressed by the quality and the fresh ingredients. Unlike other curry places I've tried, which often serve overly oily and bland dishes, this restaurant truly stands out. The food here is vibrant, with great texture and genuine ingredients. I've dined here about eight times now, and each experience has been enjoyable. The service has always been reliable and friendly. Plus, with their new delivery option, it’s just the cherry on top!
Exceptional dining experience with top-notch service! We have many options for curry in the Wargrave/Twyford area, but for me, Hurst Tiger is the best choice. I ordered a meal that arrived promptly and was cooked to perfection. The naan bread was fantastic and incredibly fresh. The mushroom rice was clearly made with fresh vegetables, not from a tin. The food is of high quality at a reasonable (though not cheap) price. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
they do all the usual things they expect from a Bangladeshi farewell and they do well. in addition, they make a nice selection of 'special' like bhuna lammschaft and others. portions are generous and the prices lower than others take in the opposite. the owners are really friendly and there is a handful of tables where they can eat.
