Hush was just what I needed on a Sunday afternoon. Inside is dark and cozy. The DJ blasted everything from Caribbean, Afrobeats to Hip Hop and R&B music. I came with a friend and it wasn't crowded so we were seated immediately. Brunch is from 11am-4pm. For bottomless drinks the options were Mimosa's or Bellini's for 90 mins $25pp) . Our waitress said she couldn't leave the pitcher on our table but she was swift with our refills. She was very attentive and friendly. Now, let me tell you about JBuzz! Wow, that guy can sing! The music selection was fantastic, featuring mostly clean versions of 90s and 2000s R&B, as well as clean reggae and dancehall tracks. My girlfriends and I had an amazing time! We will definitely be going back soon, and we might check out their happy hour. Oh, and the bartender we had was fantastic—sorry, I forgot his name, but he had a Caribbean Indian background. So go on and check it out!
They needed better lighting. Maybe they should have lit the candles. They food and drinks were awful. The fish cakes had no fish and it was tough and hard. The Sangria had no flavor. I sent it back for a rum punch and the Rum was no better. The Buffalo wings were average and the service was mediocre. My friend had been raving about HUSH for months, only for me to be let down. I was so disappointed.

My friend and I stopped by for happy hour drinks, and she ordered the chicken and fries basket. I understand it's happy hour, but wow, it's definitely lacking. I feel guilty even asking for a few fries since there’s hardly any chicken for her to enjoy. As a vegetarian, I can't even indulge in the fries either... Shaking my head!
I can’t express enough how delicious my food was, and the drinks were great as well. Every meal that my friends and I enjoyed that night was fantastic. We were all very pleased with our dishes. I had the brown stew fish combo with shrimp, while my friends ordered oxtail, curry goat, and salmon.
Amazing food, decor, music, and overall atmosphere! If you're looking for affordable fine dining, definitely visit this Black-owned restaurant. The drinks are excellent! Don’t miss the beautiful back patio! I was really impressed by the presentation, service, and the food.
The restaurant was late for our reservation, and it took over an hour for our food to arrive. The escovitch fish lacked flavor. I won’t be coming back. The reviews are accurate—save your money and don’t dine here!
