During our road trip, my husband and I decided to stop at this truck stop for a meal. Initially, I was underwhelmed by the exterior of the place. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and exceptional service. The portions were generous and the staff was extremely friendly and efficient. I ordered the big rig chef salad, which was exactly as described on the menu. My husband tried the breakfast clubhouse and couldn't stop raving about it. Overall, we had a great dining experience at this truck stop.
Husky is a gas bar, convenience store and a truck stop restaurant. Located at the turn off to Bradford, this place has been a favourite for truckers for years. Food is good and good value for the money. Restaurant is large with lots of space. Good place to bring family if you are commuting to the cottage. Stairs up to the washrooms though. Difficult if you have wheelchair. Friendly service. Grilled cheese to go is fabulous!
This restaurant is a great place to stop for a meal. The staff is always friendly, polite, and helpful. The prices are reasonable and the food is of good quality. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has spacious seating. I went on a quiet day, so I was able to enjoy a peaceful dinner. What surprised me was the size of the portions - I don't usually eat burgers, but I was impressed with how big they were.
We've eaten here numerous times, breakfast, lunch, and dinners. On this visit we had breakfast, 2 of eggs, bacon, and home fries and one hot cereal with toast. My mom gasped at the ginormous bowl of hot cereal that was served with brown sugar, cinnamon, and milk. Catherine our server was such a sweet person. (Sorry no photos on this review as we dove into our food!)
We stopped to refuel and have dinner with our camping trailer in tow. The restaurant had delicious food and fantastic staff, very welcoming to kids (with large portions for kids' meals at reasonable prices). However, the bathrooms were located upstairs, making them inaccessible and not very clean or fresh smelling.
Stopped to get diesel and dinner while pulling our camping trailer. Restaurant food and staff wonderful, kid friendly (kids meals a huge!) and reasonable prices. The bathrooms are upstairs (not accessible) and definitely not the clean or fresh smelling of restrooms.
This was intended to be a truck stop, they serve truck stop portions and the food is excellent. Clean and bright restaurant with speedy service, I would recommend this place to families as the Price is right
I stop by for breakfast and lunch. The food is fresh and delicious. One can stop off for snacks, lunch or dinner and also get your car refuelled too.
Open beef sandwich, tender meat served piping hot. Real food, and plenty of it. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the liver. Went in hungry, came out full.
