My partner and I visited this restaurant for the first time a few days ago. I was in the mood for sushi, while he wanted ramen. We took a while to decide as we explored our options, and the waitress checked on us multiple times to see if we were ready to order. Eventually, my partner ordered the tonkatsu (which we thought was ramen) and two different sushi rolls. However, when his dish arrived, it looked more like baked chicken. We informed the waitress of the mix-up and she explained that the dish he wanted was actually tonkotsu ramen, not ram. This restaurant offers high-quality sushi at affordable prices. The standard rolls range from $6-8 and special rolls go up to $17, which is fairly typical. My friend and I arrived just after 3 pm and took advantage of their daily happy hour specials from 3-7. For $26, we enjoyed chicken karaage and 2 special rolls. The karaage was some of the best I've had - lightly fried and tender meat pieces. The Fantastic Roll was, well, fantastic. The MF Roll was also delicious, but it was overshadowed by the amazing flavors of the Fantastic Roll. Overall, a great place to treat yourself. Keep in mind, seating is limited and they do not serve alcohol.
we ordered 4 rolls (educated) together with several sushi, 1 sashimi and 1 hand roll (not shown). we had an order to go and I loved that they used the plastic container to characterize the sushi so that we knew what was. They also marked every single sose cup, so we knew which sose went with which sushi. extreme love for the detail I appreciate very much. the sushi was fresh and melted in my mouth. the same for sashimi. there were only 1 roll that I did not like; I loved the others rolling. I've always liked everything. we had no complaints and will definitely come back for more.
The food here is very good and the service is always friendly. Their menu also has plenty of great options. We've been coming here since it opened and it's always great. We moved out of the area and even now if we're ever nearby we go straight to this place.
Wow! Great experience at did Sushi spot. Excellent service, cleanness and delicious rolls. Definitely worth trying. We drove all the way from OC to try this spot and I won't regret it at all. You need to try their Monkey Roll for a different sweet roll.
I give this restaurant five stars for their perfectly executed spider roll. It was cleanly prepared with flawless, non-greasy soft-shelled crab, allowing me to taste every fresh element. I can't wait to try it again!
a combo sushi plater is good choice, 22$ worth it.it comes with salad and miso soup
Fish is always fresh and the service is great. The tensc roll is my favorite
