We had very high hopes for I Maccheroni but unfortunately these fell well short. Our reservation was at 8pm and the service was so fast that we couldn't enjoy the experience and felt rushed throughout. We had finished our main course within 45 minutes of being there which was not the vibe we were after. We ordered the signature cacio e pepe but this was cold. The waiter did get us a limoncello each to say sorry but all in we were really disappointed with the overall experience of the restaurant. There were 20 of us and we went to I Maccheroni to celebrate a significant Birthday. The food was delicious. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. It was fabulous to have all the upstairs area to ourselves, we had the best time. Thank You. This is my go-to for a low key but sophisticated business dinner. It's never too loud and upstairs can take a table of 15. Get the set menu and the food just comes and its all very tasty. I dined here for dinner, and the experience was fantastic. The meal was priced between A$140 and A$160 per person. The food was impressive, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars, while the service was impeccable, receiving a perfect 5. The atmosphere also contributed to an exceptional evening, with another 5-star rating. Highly recommend dining here for a lovely night out!
