I Scalini - Tisch reservieren

This restaurant sits at the top of a mountain village and the views are amazing. You have to park at the church and walk up a few steps maybe 5 minutes to the top but when you arrive at the restaurant and sit down, the view is amazing. We went for dinner and watched the sun go down on the sea and the mountains change to pink and purple. The food is ok great for families with a lasagne of the day (vegetarian which gets my vote), risotto of the day and some other good fish and meat dishes. The house speciality starter of deep fried cheese was gorgeous. We booked in the morning and took the last table, so i would definitely book ahead. Excellent rating is for the view well worth a visit.

Even though it was very windy and we couldn't sit out on the roof terrace, the view from inside is pretty amazing. The restaurant is small but a lovely couple of rooms (inside) with a sort of beachcomber meets Conde Naste sort of decor. The people are all very friendly and helpful. Both our dishes were excellent and very generous. The house rosato was very good as was the coffee and music.

Fabulous outdoor rooftop terrace sort of...almost....on top of the world. Food was excellent,and the views were also!! Well worth a stop if driving past or even just for a beautiful drive from Bastia or Calvi with a stop for lunch!! So pleased we found this restaurant!!
