I am torn between a 3 and 4-star rating for this restaurant. I frequently stop by for coffee and an occasional panini every two weeks while passing through from Edinburgh. The coffee is excellent, the staff is friendly, the music is enjoyable, and the food is average. However, I have noticed a decline in the overall quality of the establishment recently. I have heard of a high turnover rate among the staff, and sometimes tables are left uncleared for extended periods of time. I believe the owner should make an effort to improve staff retention and morale, as this is starting to affect the level of service. I’m not really sure how the ‘iCafe’ brand of this spot matches up to the atmosphere it’s completely non conducive to work. In the hour I spent here I heard football anthems, bagpipes, and generally really abrasive (bad) tunes. I went to use the loo and both ladies’ stalls and the disabled toilet were foul couldn’t use them, and really wanted to sanitise my hands after. Each sanitiser stall was empty. Coffee was good, nice and strong, but at £3.10 for a black coffee with no milk, very overpriced. Grey looking bacon BLT also priced at £4 when you can get a much nicer, fresher meal deal a few yards away at Sainsbury’s for just £3.50. No reason to visit here when there’s a wealth of better cafes...
As a regular customer at iCafe (5 years there is consistently a 5 star customer service and this is what makes them different to your other Glasgow cafes and why I have been coming for so many years and continue to do so. iCafe go out of their way not only to ensure customer satisfaction, but also go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant guest experience. 5 stars!
I have always enjoyed going to Icafe; it has become one of my favorite pastimes. However, I have noticed recently that they are lacking specifically in banana ice cream. While the other flavors are not bad, the banana ice cream was at another level. So Icafe, if you see this, please bring back the banana ice cream. I still love you though. Your biggest fan.

Stumbled upon this place when getting home from working on the west end. Possible the best latte I've ever had in Scotland. Creamy frothy milk and a very subtle but flavourful coffee. The chicken, avocado and chilli sandwich was perfect. The bread lovely and fresh and surprisingly not dry and the filling was simply delicious and moist.
I went to this restaurant for breakfast. I had a good time overall. However, I was disappointed with the bacon breakfast bap. The bacon was dry and lacked flavor, and the bap itself was also dry with no butter or spread.
I came here for an early morning meeting. I was told food would be 20-25 minutes. Food was fresh and tasted great. Won’t be back in Glasgow for sometime but will return that’s for sure
Very nice coffee and atmosphere had a delicious Cortado! Some prices a bit steep for some drinks but Cortado was excellent value.
