The fresh roasted turkey at IHOP was amazing, even better than any holiday turkey I've had at home. The mashed potatoes were excellent, but the corn lacked butter and was undercooked. I received salad dressing but no salad, and was given a small Doordash credit as compensation. Despite these issues, I still gave IHOP 5 stars because the turkey was a pleasant surprise. The portions were large and all the food came in a reusable deep container for microwaving. I wouldn't recommend using the lid in the microwave, though. Despite my order being 30 minutes late, which I understand was due to it being Mother's Day, I was disappointed with the quality of my meal. I ordered the Steak tips eggs combo with a side of NY cheesecake pancakes, but the steak was overcooked and dry, not cooked to my requested medium doneness. Additionally, I was supposed to receive two eggs but only received one. The NY cheesecake pancakes turned out to be plain pancakes with strawberry syrup on the side, lacking both strawberries and cheesecake. Overall, I found the experience to be very disappointing.
Based on the photo, it is clear that this restaurant is not worth the $20 price. The portions of potatoes and Mac were very small. It seems they just reheated the food because the middle was cold and the outer layer was barely above room temperature. It was a very disappointing dining experience in my opinion. I gave it a second star because the taste improved after reheating it in my microwave.
