I was in a bit of a rush this morning and couldn’t make it to my usual breakfast spot, so I decided to stop at the IHOP on Oceanside Blvd from the 5. It turned out to be a big mistake. I put my name down on the waiting list, but the hostess seated four groups that arrived after me before I got a table. Once I sat down, it took forever for my server to take my drink order, and then it was another 15 minutes before she took my food order (which included eggs, bacon, and pancakes). After that, 15 more minutes went by, and the waitress informed me that the kitchen was backed up. I couldn’t believe it! I Love this location. The foods always great, the coffees hot and the restaurant is CLEAN. Carlos, Drake and the whole team were great. The manager takes time to check in with everyone. There was an issue with my to go order but they rectified the situation immediately and with no fuss or hassle about it. A+ service!
I highly recommend this restaurant! My hubby and I ate breakfast 4 times at the IHOP in Oceanside during our week long CA vacation. We appreciated the fantastic prices, the consistently tasty meals, and the exceptional and personable services provided especially by waitresses Bonnie and Kimberly. We will be back!
I have to say everything about my breakfast at this IHOP has been exceptional. The waitress was fast and friendly, the food, everything I got was on point. Perfectly cooked hash browns, eggs, pancakes, bacon. I would definitely recommend. Shout-out to Miguel and all his staff for doing such a great job!!

Amazing staff, they were super nice. The service was as fast as possible, good food. Except the pancakes ? the minion ones look great in the picture and they’re described as banana pancake but they’re regular with some sugary yellow thing on top. Skip them and order the old fashion ones
The food was okay, but the fruit wasn't fresh, which resulted in a bitter taste and bland waffles. They did offer to replace the dish free of charge, even though it wasn't one of the four options available at the restaurant. This made my selection very disappointing.
There was only one lady taking care of everything and she was so efficient and fast, my shake was perfect not too thick, the food was awsome (thank you cook) i mean... so clean so simple so delicious ! Recomend 100
Sit short, wait for our waitress and sit 15 minutes before she even came to us. the people who sat after us received their drinks before our waitress even arrived. I just wish our waitress was a little hesitant.

Ordered online and our food came fast. I ordered, drove right after sending to the restaurant and it was ready when I got there. The hostess was very friendly and made sure we had all our wishes.
