Ikkayees is truly one of the most authentic South Indian restaurants in Liverpool. I had the Chicken biriyani, Beef biriyani, Beef roast, and Kerala porotta, all of which I highly recommend. It was the most genuine Indian food I've experienced since moving to the UK. As a South Indian from Kerala, the flavors brought back memories of home. My British friend also loved the meal, particularly the biriyani. The only downside was the washroom's awkward location downstairs. Otherwise, everything was excellent, especially the service.
