We had lunch in this establishment and when paying, my wife made a justified and constructive remark. 1,And then she became hysterical, threatened my wife, told her that she was going to hit her if I didn't take her out. We left in a hurry, she followed us and called me a *****... she said that She's been here for 15 years and we won't set foot in her house again. Of course we were shocked, we have never seen that in Marseille, a boss who treats customers of all names. I now understand the bad reviews.
The setting is friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. It seems this place is known for its good cocktails, although I haven't personally tried any. I ordered a beer, and it turned out the cooling system was broken. Unfortunately, we were not informed of this issue prior to receiving our drinks. Result: we were served three lukewarm, even hot, beers. This really ruined our time, and I felt a lack of empathy from the staff who didn't bother to warn us in advance.
The manager humiliated and yelled at a homeless person for 10 minutes, even though he had not asked for anything, using “shut up”. Likewise, her partner physically threatened the same person, and he almost hit him. We planned to move there, but this place will never receive a cent from us. The managers should be ashamed of their ridiculous, pathetic and inhumane behavior.
The only thing I remember from this place is that the managers SCREAM and publicly and violently humiliate a homeless person already on the ground for many minutes...... Does a little humanity mean something to you? Not A cent for such violent tenants (and seeing the other comments, it seems to be the mood to yell at the customers too, great). Being from the neighborhood, it’s always a safe bet, the staff always adapts and offers you variations. They make the effort to serve me a dish in the middle of the afternoon and it’s delicious!!! Thank you !!
Their so-called homemade lemonade is PAC in water with squeezed lemon. Personally it's much too sweet for my taste, it's not lemonade that... There were 4 of us to finish it.
Great coffee. The food is simple but good and tasty. Compared to other restaurants with similar reviews, this one is worth a lot more. The service was also great
