We came here for our anniversary. It was an unplanned venue but they had availability at the last minute. We used to come to this restaurant at the previous location on Main and Prospect St. My memories of this restaurant was quite fond. Unfortunately,I cannot say my experience at the new location was good. The atmosphere and decor are great. The parking is fairly convenient;just wished that you can enter from the parking lot instead going to the front. The least impressive part of this restaurant isthe food and value. IL Capriccio has long been a respected name in Northern Italian cuisine for many years. After closing due to COVID-19 and the retirement of its original owners, it has now reopened under new management, just under a mile from its original location. The ambiance has been refreshed with a lighter, more modern feel (though I personally preferred the traditional look it had before). The service remains excellent, as it always was, but the quality of the food seems to have slipped slightly compared to the past—though it’s still very good. I would still recommend this restaurant for a business meeting or a romantic dinner.
I had a fun night at the restaurant! The food and drinks were both excellent. The only issue we encountered was with our waitress—she seemed a bit impatient when we asked about an ingredient in one of the dishes. I get that she might have had a long day, so I understand the pressure. Despite that, I’ll definitely be returning with my family!
