Stumbled upon this gem as it was close to our hotel, a little out of town away from the tourist trap. We found the service here to be fantastic with equally impressive and delightful food. We were made so welcome & impressed with the food, we decided to return during our 5 night stay in Cannes. We ate out one night in the town at a very expensive restaurant but in no way did it compete with Il Convivo. Our meals consisted of Pizza and Steak on the first night and Linguini Carbonara & Tuna with a gluten free pasta on the second night (that they both had in stock & cooked on request after asking on the off chance). First time visitors and 'came across' this place due to a combination of TA and the Concierge's recommendation. Suffice to say, this is an 'off the beaten track', non-touristic, gem of an authentic Italian restaurant. Hidden away up a side street in the 'suburbs' of Cannes, this family owned and run restaurant captures everything there is to respect and admire about Italians and their love of food. Comme d'habitude, l'Italie dans votre assiette!!! La Mama aux fourneaux, l'accueil chaleureux, les produits frais, le personnel adorable (et c'est rare!!!) aux petits soins. Les Pizzas et les Pastas délicieuses, grand choix de Vins, musique d'Ambiance. J'y est découvert ma première Burrata à la crème de Truffes. Je recommande chaleureusement. En famille, en couple, entre amis, tout y est!!!!Habituée des lieux depuis ces début!!! Prix très correct à Cannes.

Nous y avons diner suite aux differents avis recommandant le restaurant.Les pizzas sont fines et plutot bonnes.Peu de choix en ce qui concerne les entrées mais nous n avons pas testé.Les pates sont tres bonnes !! Niveau dessert, nous avons pris le tiramisu qui etait correct.Le service est tres bon, aimable et tres commercial. L addition est honnete.Donc un bon italien sur le plan Global. Nous y avons mangé des pizzas excellentes. La pâte fine cuite comme il fallait avec des ingrédients de qualité et frais, pas grasse ! Un tiramisu est venu conclure ce repas ! Le tout arrosé de Chianti servi au verre. L'addition de 47 euros était correcte. L'accueil est chaleureux et sympathique. Le seul bémol : il faisait un peu chaud !Le cadre est cosy. On s'y sent bien.

Dans un quartier pas très touristique,Ce restaurant est superbe.Une déco sympa, un personnel attentionné et efficace.La carte offre du choix pour tous les goûts ,il en est même difficile de choisir.Les plats sont fameux. Que dire, de bons goûts comme on en demande.Le dessert est aussi succulent. Le tiramisu est excellent, avec une petite note d'orange bienvenue.PARFAIT.

Un paio di mesi fa avevamo preso una pizza a portar via di tutto rispetto, stasera invece era ben altra cosa: dura, stracotta, il pomodoro bruciato, la mozzarella che sa di formaggio e un prosciutto, inizialmente "crudo", che si è trasformato in.. boh. È un peccato, spero sinceramente che rivedano la scelta del pizzaiolo.

Nel 2014 abbiamo cenato.in questo ristorante per Capodanno. Il menù non.era eccezionale ma l ospitalità è stata super e ci siamo.divertiti sia con i titolari e con gli ospiti!
