I do not recommend this restaurant. I ordered a dish with pork, and they refused to remake it when there was an issue. It was a disappointing experience overall—what I received was basically a bowl of grease. There are so many better restaurants with much better customer service. It's clear why many people in the neighborhood choose not to eat here. I should have taken it as a warning when I had to approach a staff member who was sitting down eating to place my order. It seemed like her meal was more important than mine.
Wow! We traveled from Seattle for a music festival in Chicago, and this restaurant was fantastic. Our server was outstanding, and as a chef myself, I can’t say enough good things about the kitchen staff. The food was absolutely delicious! The calamari was crispy on the outside, yet the meat was incredibly tender. Our main courses were cooked to perfection, from the sauce to the pasta. The only downside was that the bread was quite hard.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place for dinner or any celebration. My fiancé proposed to me at II Culaccino, which holds special significance as it was where we had our first date. Our server, Bobby, did an outstanding job of keeping the surprise and went above and beyond to ensure that our proposal was perfect. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are all fantastic, and I can't wait to come back.

Great restaurant with a convenient location. The food is a bit oily and greasy, but still delicious. However, the music was quite loud, making it difficult to have a conversation.
The whipped ricotta was incredibly delicious! I also really enjoyed the risotto. Our server was not only kind but also very knowledgeable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
