Cassidy's Dessert Drama: A $200 per person spectacle Prepare yourself for a unique experience at Il Falcone. We opted for the $165 per person tasting menu with wine pairings and thoroughly enjoyed every dish until we reached the dessert course. Our server, Cassidy, became the star of the show. This is 100% the highlight of our trip to Vancouver Island quite simply the best food and service we have had here. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, in portions which weren't totally overwhelming, as we have found elsewhere. It was warm enough for us to enjoy the a lovely courtyard setting, with fig trees overhead. Service was friendly, efficient unobtrusive. Cassidy the sommelier looked after us so well, explaining the source of the wines liqueurs, listening engaging in conversation but without lingering too long. My wife and I had dinner here for our first wedding anniversary last night, and we couldn 't of picked a better place. We both did the Chefs Tasting along with a wine pairing, and not only was everything exceptional, but the service was amazing, and very personable. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone!
Absolutely superb cuisine and one of the best wine lists in BC. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive. A lovely oasis in the middle of Courtenay, surrounded by plum and fig trees and gardens. Our favorite restaurant for our birthdays and anniversaries.
It was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Service was excellent, food was perfect and delicious, and our sommelier/bartender made top-notch drinks.Will definitely be returning in the future.
