One of us ordered salmon with our dish, and it was not served when the food was brought out. The waitress apologized and brough it out a bit later; however, it was a bit undercooked. The other 2 members of our party also ordered salmon and we could compare the undercooked salmon to our salmon to tell that it was clearly cooked less than intended.
Our appetizers were excellent. Beet salad and salumi platter were both very tasty. Our main courses were well presented and delicious. We enjoyed scallopini, baked eggplant and chicken with mushrooms.
Been a customer for many years. Time has not done it well! It seemed bland although the server was lively and knew the menu. Will wait a while before returning.
Always enjoy going to Il Fornaio. Nice atmosphere and good food.
