I couldn 't be more thankful that my hunny chose this restaurant as the romantic place to wine and dine me, and after dessert, ask me to marry him! It was such a wonderful experience already, with the wonderful service by Alex and then for him to go over and beyond by filming my fiancé 's sweet proposal. This restaurant is a gem! We had another fantastic Italian meal at this restaurant. The service was excellent and we were pleasantly surprised to receive our appetizers before our main dishes (which is not always the case at other restaurants). The staff happily accommodated our requests to split menu items and checks. Normally a quiet establishment, tonight was a bit noisier due to a nearby group celebrating a festive occasion. Despite the noise, this is still our favorite Italian restaurant in Roseville.
We had a most enjoyable dinner last evening at Il Fornaio in Roseville. We were seated right away at a wonderful table and presented with card of congratulations for our wedding anniversary thoughtful and classy. Ryan was our server and he gave us outstanding service. The food was delicious and we were treated to a complementary dessert for our special occasion. Thank you Ryan and Il Fornaio.
Our server Kevin was attentive and our food was delicious. The wall near our table had food splatter on it and the bathrooms were grimy, overall the whole place could use a deep clean.

Salad was good but soup arrived w lid half off so broth made a mess everywhere as I didn’t immediately notice. My slacks, my shirt, my hotel couch got stained!!
We have been eating at I'll Fornaio for many years and they never disappoint. Very Good Consistent Food in a delightful environment... Highly Recommended
They gave us a personal Birthday card. Food and drinks were splendid. Try the affigato? Espresso over gelato. To die for.
I find it very interesting that the price has gone up by the size had gone down. Disappointing.
