three of us went there on a Sunday evening to celebrate a friend birthday. Staff was very friendly, courteous and attentive to a cable as far as refilling water glasses or whatever we had two people order the salmon and one order the mixed grill and all three meals were exceptional, large portions, tasty is very good food. The only minor drawback on the mixed grill was that the potatoes and broccolini or more warm than hot but the rest of the salmon for shrimp for scallops and portion of whitefish or warm and very very flavorful the other two that had the salmon everything was hot and very enjoyable salmon, as far as value for the amount of food that we got value with very much their prices...
I couldn 't be more thankful that my hunny chose this restaurant as the romantic place to wine and dine me, and after dessert, ask me to marry him! It was such a wonderful experience already, with the wonderful service by Alex and then for him to go over and beyond by filming my fiancé 's sweet proposal. This restaurant is a gem! This was our first time here, the atmosphere was nice. The service was good but unfortunately the low review is for the quality of the food and price. We started with drinks and and the Calamari. The calamari was over fried and had 0 flavor.. We ordered the Bolognese and Pesto pasta, Both lacked flavor and very disappointing. Dinner and drinks came to $180.00. We will cross ll Fornaio off our list, would not recommend.
We had a most enjoyable dinner last evening at Il Fornaio in Roseville. We were seated right away at a wonderful table and presented with card of congratulations for our wedding anniversary thoughtful and classy. Ryan was our server and he gave us outstanding service. The food was delicious and we were treated to a complementary dessert for our special occasion. Thank you Ryan and Il Fornaio.

Ryan,our waiter, was great. We’ve been dining at Il Fornaio for years and this was the best meal yet! The batter on the calamari was angel wings light and tasty, the Calabrese salad was superb, the sauce on the ravioli was creamy and delicious and the caramel/sea salt gelato was terrific. A lovely anniversary dinner!
We have been eating at I'll Fornaio for many years and they never disappoint. Very Good Consistent Food in a delightful environment... Highly Recommended
They gave us a personal Birthday card. Food and drinks were splendid. Try the affigato? Espresso over gelato. To die for.
The service, food, and atmosphere at this restaurant are fantastic. I will definitely be returning many more times.
