Stopped by this restaurant on way home from skiing thinking it would just be a quick food pitstop, oh how pleasntly surprised i was! We were so warmly welcomed by the owner and her husband, and they sat us on a table close to the fire. The owner made us feel so welcome that we felt at home and they easily were able to accomodate a dietary requirement (dairy allergy). The owner was very engaging and added a level of service far beyond what I had expected and to be honest the meal and experience we had ended up being the best part of our day! In an area with few dining options, Il Gatto Verde is worth seeking out for excellent homemade food. Open only Friday and Monday. and conveniently serving all day through evening, Belgians Gina and George are welcoming hosts and everything is made fresh from scratch. A real find!
