Went for dinner tonight with my gorgeous gf and was surprised to see that the name and menu had been changed from The Jetty to an Italian restaurant. Either way...we decided to stay and give it a try as the food, drinks and service were good when it was The Jetty.So we ordered our usual Long Island Iced Tea and requested they be strong. They came out weak and not sour enough. We ordered the calamari to start and to share. Small portion and bit over cooked and rubbery. Bad start so far. Arrived early without reservations at 5:00 pmAdvised we must leave by 7:15 pm as they had a booking at 7:45 and "the service staff were slow to turn over the tables"???Ordered our food and drinksService was fast attentive and pleasant especially the Canadian girlFood looked good and tasted good but the kitchen is very heavy handed with seasoning overdoing it with too much salt in every dish. We left at 7:00 pmAll was okOnly stand out was really the Canadian waitressLocation is very convenient next to the ferry terminal and there is really no competition near by. Their lucky. Without this they would need to fix their kitchen or they would lose business. Advice to get the manager to spot check...
Dined at Il Molo today for a special family birthday lunch for my Daughter. Beautiful location and good decor, but the service was dreadful and the food only slightly above average for the price. Ended up pouring our own wine (when it finally came), mains all served at different times and dirty dishes not cleared from the table. Waiter gave me attitude and was not respectful of severe coeliac requirements for my Daughter. Manager did try to address some of our concerns but I certainly could not recommend this restaurant in its present format.

Having heard that the Jetty had rebranded to Il Molo we were keen to try it out. We popped along one evening and sat outside people watching the commuters coming home. The food was fantastic, I had the steak and it was lovely. Perfectly cooked to medium as my request. The jus was also great, I could have drunk a jar of it! My husband thought his pizza was also great. I had read mixed reviews on trip advisor about the service but we found it great. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu and take in the views.
Breakfast here with 7 others , what a disaster. Our orders got mixed up, nothing was written down , food was slow to arrive (when children are involved this is not acceptable) and served in dribs and drabs. We had to remind the waitress 2 times that some of our order was missing. Food was average. All in all the made over "Jetty" has not seen any improvement. Prime piece od Bulimba real estate gone to wast in my opinion. Wont be back any time soon

Just popped in for a mid afternoon snack and am so pleased to have been recommended the arancini - they are delicious! The hint of truffle makes them perfect. I think I'll stay longer, enjoy a drink and the view and soak up the ambience.

Had a nice lunch today the pasta was delicious but the staff were in a panic and our mains took over an hour, way too long for lunch.
Best location on Oxford St, and great place to watch the sunset while having a cocktail. No queue for coffee in the morning either.
