OH MY STARS!! Was this ever a diamond in the rough! I must have passed by here a zillion times and not noticed an amazing restaurant humbledly tucked on Washington, just west of Eastern. My good friend and her family live around the bend and they hadn't heard or seen this place either. We are always looking for good places to try and it took me fumbling on yelp to come across it and I did a double take because I couldn't believe this was coming up as a opened restaurant, patio/outdoor seating, and the pictures and reviews had me intrigued. This place is definitely a hidden jem! A family member of mine lives a few block from here ... She was craving Italian and was telling me how delicious the calamari was along with the pasta she had gotten the last time she was there... Let me tell you, they don't have a long time open so the wait for a table was not even 2 minutes. They bring in some bread with garlic that was nice and warm!!! Most importantly it was fresh and delicious. Three of us got the Fetuccini Alfredo and I have not had Fetuccini that was that delicious. You can tell that it is made fresh and it just overall had a homemade taste. I loved my pasta! 2 of my other family members got another type of pasta and another one...
My wife discovered this fantastic restaurant, and after shopping at the Citadel, we decided to give it a try. The first thing that impressed us was the friendly staff. Next, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and its homemade quality. Everything was just as we hoped. I had the Chicken Marsala, which I really enjoyed, while my wife adored her fettuccine with mushrooms and seafood. I must also highlight the Tiramisu—it was rich and incredibly tasty. We will definitely return!
My wife found this amazing restaurant. After Citadel shopping, we made our way here. The first thing that caught our attention was the kindness of the staff. Secondly, the food surprised us with the great tastes and homemade quality. Everything was as we wished it would be. I enjoyed the Chicken Marsala and my wife loved her Fettuccini with mushrooms and seafood. I should mention the Tiramisu was rich and delicious. Will definitely be back.
A delicious Italian restaurant, great flavors and presentation; Portions are good and service is excellent. They bring to the table garlic roasted bread, which is beautiful, warm and crisp. The restaurant has its own free parking, note that the entrance to the restaurant is not from the front door, but from the parking lot. Total value of the drive
LOVED IT.... Came back after over a year due to COVID. Dined in and enjoyed the quiet dinner with my family. My son got the Kids Spaghetti with extra meatballs, I had the Ribeye with Spaghetti and the other had the Steak Panini with Fries... we also had the fried Calamari .... the food was sooo good we will definitely be back
Love Love Love Love Love Halibut Dinner Special!!! Best fish I've ever had. The cap and olive sauce is amazing. Time and again. My husband loves the ribbed dinner. Great service. Family owned. They feel welcome and at home. What a GEM in commerce near the citadel.
Delicious food. Nice wine options. And the homemade desserts are fantastic. It's a hidden gem. We tried the Osso Bucco, black risotto with salmon and shrimp and cheesecake. All major decisions. We'll come back to Din.
The food was excellent. Both the sole dinner served with pasta and a generous portion of vegetables, as well as the spinach ravioli, were delicious, hot, and wonderfully tender. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
