First approach the first words do you have a reservation. No and since that moment it was all down hill. We were made to feel like we where an inconvience to them for not booking. Undercooked pasta and shabby seafood, carelessly flung on the plate (which would have been acceptable had it tasted fresh) are just some of the 'joys ' that await you at Il Tratto Ra Ro Pizzeria. I 've heard rumours this place was once the shining star along the restaurant strip of Majors Bay Rd. But a change in ownership several years ago has ensured its dismal reputation. Never one to take much notice of bad reviews, I decided to give Il Tratto a go. Maybe I should have listened! Il Tratto 's prices are far too high for the small portion sizes. Attended the restaurant for dinner with my family, we ordered and received our food in a timely manner. And it was good quality.Heres the difference:We ordered what we ate off the dine in menu, which turns out that each item we ordered had at least a 8 dollar mark up on the price. Compared to the takeaway menu.We proceeded to pay for the bill and once again the prices on each the dine in menu and the takeaway menu where different to what the computer system charged us.We had to go back in the store twice to a refund.
We started our meal with the cold antipasto for two and were delighted with variety and quality of meat and vegetables. Plenty of bread was offered on the platter too. Others had the fresh grilled calamari and bruschetta. We then went on to our mains which were the salmon pizza, four cheese gnocchi and the risotto marinara. All of our meals were delicious and we would highly recommend this restaurant. Fantastic service never goes out of style!

The pizzas are poor quality, dry, minimal toppings. The ricotta cheesecake is way over priced and most just cream, hardly any cheese cake. I ordered delivery and it came more than 30 minutes late. Avoid this restaurant, there are many good quality restaurants near by serving better pizzas and dessert.
ordered at pizza to be delivered -took an hour and 15- and pretty much a disappointment 28 dollars and hardly had any topping it was supposed to be a supreme we also ordered olives, fetta and pans de casa- the olives and fetta came tossed together in a takeaway container-pretty poor effort
Great menu with heaps on offer. Portion sizes aren't huge but dishes are very tasty. The restaurant was very busy with only one person serving so it was quite slow but it was a public holiday which may explain the wait time due to lack of staff
We went here one week day for lunch and its was nice, but not somewhere I would need to rush back to. Prices are average for the area and the staff were friendly.

Best Woodfire pizza around, lots and lots pasta and pizza options. Mains are amazing, specially the filleto and salmon.
Great Italian with food reasonable prices and good service. The wine list is small but enough for a cheap night out.
