Have eaten here consistently over the years maybe 4 x per year and ALWAYS without exception have had the greatest of service and great food. This is an honest, great value restaurant serving trattoria no bull food in slick setting. The entrees are well priced with typically southern Italy specialities and the standouts are any of the pasta dishes. Not there is anything amiss with non pasta mains - but it's a little like having fish at a steakhouse (not the speciality)The desserts are also fantastic so stick with an entree - pasta - dessert trifecta and you are guaranteed a great meal. Eager to try this Restaurant after reading some great reviews. Three out of the four of us dining were disappointed in our main meals. We all shared a Antipasto platter and that was very tasty and came on a large board with a variety of tasty morsels. The dip was a bit ordinary though and probably a little more bread would have been good but everything else was lovely. There were two meals of Capretto and unfortunately quite tough to eat served on a bed of salad which did not go down well with the men. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were made to feel special and welcomed. We were immediately seated and attended be a delightful young lady who also looked after us all evening. The food was delicious with more than ample servings, and the ciabatta was the fresh and the best bread. The flavours of the mains were excellent-the lamb and vegetables and the tagliatelle was a delight to the taste buds. In all the food and service was faultless. Highly recommend iLPasto to anyone.
My husband Kevin, our friend Buster and myself (Deborah), were recommended by a friend to visit Ill Pasto, because it off the main st Beaufort St, we had by passed it many times...Service excellent, food was cooked to perfection, and the hilight was it was BYO, so cuts the costs down, we will be back and bringing our friends:::)))

Visit this establishment a few times a year with a group of friendsThe food and service are consistently good. Parking is easy as there is a huge parking area across the road if none on streetCan be a little hard to fi d the first time as the restaurant is behind the post office but once you turn into ninth avenue easily visible
It was quite nice. I thought the menu was a bit limited but the food was pleasant without being fantastic. Nice venue with good service, There's nothing on the menu that jumped out at me but we had a nice time. I think pound for pound Cantina 664 has them covered (a bit further up Beaufort Street) but the food is fine
Been here at least 10 times and the food is always excellent. service is always friendly and the food is reasonablely priced for Perth restaurants. It is usually busy so best to book especially on the weekends. They dont sell alcohol so remember to BYO your wine.
We have eaten here on numerous occasions and always enjoyed the food and service. Great choice which is reasonably priced
