Im Golfpark Gut Düneburg

Unfortunately, the terms “good” and “golf park” in the name of the hotel are totally misleading. Anyone who relies on the facade here will be disappointed. This has nothing at all to do with a golf park but is simply an outdated trucker and construction worker shack. And I don't mean to offend hard-core truckers or construction workers at all. The impression created here is simply a deception. The forest, the building etc are actually all really beautiful but the breakfast is a total joke. Three slices of cheese, scrambled eggs and two slices of cucumber are the selection. I have never experienced such a blatant savings offer in an accommodation. The WiFi is simply non-existent in the rooms....

Hallo zusammen, leider kann ich diese Unterkunft nicht empfehlen. Die Rezeption ist nicht durchgehend besetzt, sodass bei Problemen oder anderen Anliegen keine Hilfe geleistet werden kann, und die Freundlichkeit lässt ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig. Das könnte vielleicht an der norddeutschen Art liegen. Darüber hinaus waren die Zimmer nicht sauber. Mein Bettlaken hatte rote Flecken, und es befanden sich mehrere Spinnweben in den Ecken und an den Lampen. Das ist jedoch nicht das entscheidende Problem für uns, sondern die Abzocke am letzten Tag. Wir reisen mit einem Baby (unter 1 Jahr) und müssen daher für alle Tage zusätzlich Frühstück zahlen. Jeder Elternteil weiß, wie viel ein Baby oder Kleink...

Update : if you try to figure out why the air conditioning takes 30 minutes to turn off, you will discover that it is just very very dirty. if they find out that you had the audacity to inspect the air conditioning to ask for it to be cleaned you get a warning on your door. indeed the air conditioners cannot be closed since they are at the end of their life (I would like to point out that the first one opened by itself, the second one I actually took a precaution and opened it myself) A memorable customer experience At 100€ per night we could honestly expect better. a functional wifi to begin with (we must assume that it does not exist, from 6 p.m. it is unusable). Beautifully located, a great piece of earth... Unfortunately, the hotel is running on staff on a budget. The golf course was closed in 2023, so this clientele will be missing. But cyclists and also mechanics. We were on the EmsRadweg and spent one night here. The reception was not staffed, but we were informed about the procedure by email. Key card was available, room was clean and in order. The restaurant was open (Wed to Sun) and the rump steak was perfect. Good wine, wonderful evening outdoors, just beautiful. Wir hatten einen Aufenthalt an diesem wunderschönen Ort geplant. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da wir am nächsten Morgen sehr früh abreisen wollten, haben sie alles unternommen, damit wir morgens noch einen Kaffee bekommen konnten. Was für eine tolle Erfahrung!

The rooms were functionally furnished. The bathroom could have been a little bigger. The location itself was good, but it wouldn 't have hurt if, for example, the bicycle barn had been swept through.

This meal was bad, the chicken wings were cold, the fruit wasn't fresh, the soup was too salty, the staff was overwhelmed despite the lack of customers and mixed up a lot of things
