When in St. Louis, Imo's Pizza should be on your list of places to eat. It is delicious and inexpensive (if you are serving in the military and have proof of ID, they will give you an extremely generous 50% discount). We have eaten at the OG location where it all began and LOVED every single bite of our toasted ravioli (a St. Louis classic) and the cheese pizza. No fancy toppings, it is so good and you get a good idea of their unique signature cheese blend. Highly recommend this place if you want to taste authentic St. Louis style food.
I had ordered a pizza (half with just sausage and the other half with a supreme mix) for take out. Got to the place and the employees by the cashier didn't address me at all, they were just chit-chatting with one of their friends that just came in. There was at least 3 employees standing there not addressing any customers. After the friend left, I had to approach them to check on my order. There were at least 2 other people behind me waiting as well. Overall the pizza was good, I'm glad we decided not to eat in the restaurant!
I had a terrible experience at Imo's. The pizza was overcooked and as dry as the Sahara. I ate it out of hunger during my lunch break, but I really didn’t have time to reorder. They also forgot one of the dressings for my salad, so I had to call to get it delivered. The young lady who answered had to involve a manager to address my request, and the manager seemed somewhat annoyed that I wanted them to bring it to me, even though I had paid for delivery. The only positive note was the soda. I won't be ordering from here again.
After arriving just before closing time for the kids' dinner, we looked for a good pizza spot near our accommodations. We quickly and easily ordered the All Meat and the Deluxe pizzas for pickup through their mobile-friendly website. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious! Quick, fresh, hot and delicious. Food wait time was less than 10 minutes! Secret recipe: Always add extra sauce and extra cheese and your pizza will definitely reheat well and taste extra yummy when first served. We heard great things about St. Louis Pizza, so we decided to try Imo's since we were nearby. The pizza was fantastic, with a thin, crispy crust and fresh toppings. The service was quick, too. Our toddler really enjoyed the roasted ravioli as well. We ordered a 16-inch half-and-half pizza with meat and veggies. If we're ever in St. Louis again, we'll definitely return to one of the many Imo's locations!
The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely amazing! The salad was crisp, and the Provel bites were hot and creamy—I’ve never had them that good at any other Imo's, which is why I stopped ordering them before. The food and customer service were outstanding. Thank you! This is still the best Imo's in St. Louis. The bites disappeared so quickly, and I forgot to take pictures of the salad!
Very nice clean place just a few blocks down from Hampton inn. Had pizza and spaghetti both very good. Was very impressed with the local specialty of fried ravioli. I've had it before at a different restaurant and was not impressed but wanted to try it once more. Very glad I did, this place makes it great and the sauce that came with it made it fabulous. No trip to St. Louis is complete without a stop at Imo's. The cheese has a unique gooey texture that you'll either love or dislike, but it's definitely worth a try! The location was spacious and clean, with attentive staff. I had a great experience here, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the roasted ravioli as well!
