This review is for the In N Out in Pasadena on Foothill. I've been to this place a lot of times. I don't use the drive thru, because the line is too long. I don't park in the lot, because people block you in, so I park on the street nearby. I'm okay doing this. The food is typical In N Out. I get a three by three mustard fried makes the burger taste soooo good! Prices have gone up, but it's still reasonable for fast food. The bad the walk up window is pathetic. At times it's a little better, but there's a strange philosophy the staff at this In N Out have. They slow down the order process and there's almost always a long line of people waiting to order. How do they slow down the order line?...
This rating is strictly based on the food quality and wait. I love In N Out and have gone to multiple locations throughout the years but this location literally served our food cold after we waited so long. The burger and fries were literally cold and felt like they had been sitting out for a long time which is ridiculous bc we had to wait so long to get our food to begin with?? Makes you wonder why they would wait so long only to give you old burgers… Also FYI, this location is primarily drive thru but they have a little booth you can walk to and order. We didn’t want to wait 3 blocks in our car so went to the booth to order not that it helped us at all.
The food was a treat for this East Coaster. We were surprised at the small footprint of the location. There were maybe four parking spots and a line of 30 cars for takeout. It seemed well organized though. Staff went down the line taking orders. We opted to park across the street and walk up to the takeout window. It probably took 30 minutes to wait in line and get our food. It was worth the wait.
This location of In-N-Out is quite compact and functions primarily as a drive-thru. There were long lines of cars in two separate queues, and only one counter for those who wanted to order on foot. Was such a bummer. I feel like they should make it drive through only because if you get out of car you wait at least double the time. The buns were so dry. Worst in&out I've ever been to
Terrible experience. Waited in line for 30 minutes and waited for another 30 minutes for my meal. Really traumatized.
What delicious burgers, good price, good seasoning, really the fame that precedes them is not in vain. Very good.
