We had booked through The Fork with a 50% discount planned, but the manager canceled it even though we were there (he apologized, but did not apply this discount to us). The welcome was special, he immediately awkwardly rushed us to order, with an unpleasant tone. The atmosphere was more than oppressive, few people and very silent. The wine was good though. In short, the reception needs to be reviewed, which is a shame because the products seem to be of good quality.
Restaurant to be discovered in Maisons-Alfort. In a warm and wooded setting you first discover original wines, rums that make travel and whisky of all kinds, so first a beautiful cellar! Then the kitchen works on flavors echoing the Basque country, origin of the boss always smiling and available. You can enjoy the dishes you want, which always find the little touch making the difference.
We had long wanted to test this restaurant that doesn't pay for mine outdoors. What a nice surprise: wine cellar atmosphere, calm and intimate. The kitchen is excellent, full of interesting flavours. The choice of the menu is very correct (4 entries, 4 dishes, 4 desserts: for homemade fact it is very good). Nice welcome. Quick and efficient service. We will return with pleasure
Restaurant, wine cellar, fine grocery. The concep is successful, the aesthetic is original, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, the boss is passionate and his talented cook. For example, a very good taste basque ham risotto and a premium veal liver cooked rosé as you like and then you end up with a rum baba that explodes in the mouth. Experiment very quickly.
