6 of us had a long booked family dinner at India on the Green on Father's Day, and had a very enjoyable meal. Lots of variety in mains and side dishes, with plenty of wine and Cobra to help things along. 4 of the party had been before, but for the 2 new visitors, good to see that they were also impressed by the quality of the food, the conservatory setting, and the atmosphere. Service was a little bit variable restaurant was clearly busy, but that didnt explain it totally. Nice touch on a range of complimentary drinks at the end. We will definitely be back soon.
Second time I’ve been. Staying at nearby Craigendarroch lodges. Management or something was in transition because the service was sub-par for a pricey restaurant. Dishes not arriving as ordered and at different times. However food was excellent. Surprised that the card machine didn’t work and only found out when I was about to pay the bill.
delicious Indian cuisine served by friendly helpful scholarly staff, ask for their recommendations. great for groups or even a quiet romantic dinner. best Indian cuisine for miles. the relishes should be filled and sold. this place knows how to take care of you. highly recommended.
Superb meal here last night. The food was delicious and the staff were most attentive and friendly. Spotlessly clean surroundings and a very warm welcome received. Very good experience and a perfect place to enjoy dining in whilst on holiday. 10/10.

we were looking for a good restaurant for dinner in ballater. the options are quite limited. we have a chance on a recommendation from the desk consultant.
amazing eating and friendly staff, beautiful place to eat. were great and there were extra greetings from the kitchen. would absolutely recommend it.
not her typical Indian restaurant. although they are the standard dishes, chicken tikka, tandoori etc. owners are from bangladesch and most are me.
one of the best Indian places we ate. the restaurant is clean, spacious and the staff is very attentive and polite. they are open late and eat.

Amazing food ! Lots of seafood and fish curries, as well as all the normal ones . Staff were very nice and it’s in a lovely setting .
