I arrive at the India Clay Pit as a delivery driver. I was applaud at the treatment I received from the women at the counter when I asked where the restroom was. She said she was sorry and pointed to a sign that said no public restroom unless you’re a customer. I politely told her I was picking up for a customer then she said no delivery men either. Clearly I am a women and the lack of compassion she had for me was horrible. As a delivery driver I patron MANY establishments I pick up from this could have been one of them. I will be declining any pick ups at this location and I will never dine in.I hope that my race was not sb added issue as well.
We stumbled across this place on accident, was looking for a spot to eat on our way out of the area when we stopped in, was a little skeptical because of Google reviews but this place was exceptional. Food was absolutely delicious fresh. The service was also great, they were very attentive lots of people in and out picking up as well as dining. They had an event they were setting up for but it didn't stop them from staying in top of attending to us. Great vibe and just overall great little spot I'm glad we found. Will definitely be back.
Parked my semi truck at Pilot Castaic road opposite to this restaurant. Walked in to this place to order for some for 2-3 days. Butter chicken, chilli chicken, goat curry, garlic naan and raita, gulab jamun. Food was delicious and comes in big bowl. I will stop here again. Thank you sir for great customer service and offering free tea.
my husband and I felt like eating Indian food as usual we popped into the Indian clay pot their chai tea was the best and out of this world and their food was so authentic and the beautiful people that surrounded us as a chanted was quite the memorable occasion last night I will definitely be back you should too!Doug n jewels

This spot is amazing! I’ve ordered take-out and dined in and the food is great. Lots of vegetarian options; veggie combo for 2 is a great deal if you’re looking to sample a lot of their dishes. They are super attentive, too! Overall, a great little hole-in-the-wall. Must try!
We have ordered food to-go from here over a dozen times and the quality is always so good! The staff is very kind and I absolutely love ordering from here! I've tried more than half the menu here. Also, they have the best mint chutney!Food: 5/5

Hands down amazing food! The prices are super reasonable compared to other places! The chicken makhani is by far the best dish in the house!

No alcohol, but the chai is beautiful. Thick, creamy, and wonderfully spiced. A real treat. Food as well is really great. Friendly service.
