On a Saturday afternoon towards the end of the off-season, we stopped by a local restaurant feeling thirsty and in need of a pick-me-up after a day of sightseeing. We were hoping for cold drinks, tea, and perhaps a sweet treat. As we entered, we noticed a group of locals engaging in lively conversation with the lady behind the counter. We sensed a bit of hesitation as we approached, feeling like we were imposing on their gathering. The lady seemed a bit indifferent to our presence, making us have to request our drinks and treats. It appeared as though she was eager to close up for the day and head home. Despite the lack of warmth in service, we did enjoy sampling some of their sweets, which...
We called in on a very miserable day in Pictou and were very much cheered by our experience. The homemade soup and biscuits were just what we needed. This was followed by divine data squares and great drinks. My husband found Canadian coffee rather weak elsewhere on our trip, and I had experienced, tea too cool to brew properly, tasting of coffee or just plain poor. Both coffee and tea were a delight, a pity no-one else dropped in while we were there to enjoy it though a local came for take-out.
So nice to sit down and have a good cup of coffee that doesn't come in a paper cup. Restaurant was clean, really clean, and cookies and squares looked delicious. I like the idea of choosing my own strength of coffee. Owner is friendly.
I happened to stop by this place for a latte one day. It's a nice little place so I stopped by everyday until my stay in Pictou was over. The bathrooms were clean and the service was great. What more could you want? Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This cafe is excellent for a a light breakfast or lunch, service is good & friendly. Bake goods are a delight with a steaming cup of tea,. Latte's are very good as well. Highly Recommend Indigo Enjoy
We just grabbed some drinks here. It is a small cafe on the main street. The lady was friendly. If we had more time we might have tried something to eat as it smelled very good.
This is a nice little cafe with a used book shelf - some great books we picked up. The decor is a little basic but the service was nice and we enjoyed the treats.

Looking for a light lunch, we found this cafe in the Main Street and thoroughly enjoyed the food and coffee and chatting to the locals.
