I just had a dinner in my favorite Indian restaurant in the world. If I lived in Munich, I would eat here once a week. But as it is, I only get to enjoy this excellent restaurant 2 or 3 times a year during business trips. Ordered the Tandoori Grill with monks, giant prawn and a piece of chicken. I was hesitant to order fish in an Indian restaurant on a Tuesday with not a large number of guests, but my fear was completely unfounded. We visited this facility several times in recent years. Overall, the food is at the same level as in other Indian restaurants in the Munich region: standard Indian cuisine. However, prices are slightly higher, and it seems that their shares are smaller each year. The ambience is not very welcoming, either Jaipur is located in the basement of another popular restaurant in Grünwald. In winter some can find the cellar cozy, but in a nice day nobody would want to sit in the dark in the cellar. Also caution: explicit Kamasutra pictures on the walls. All in all, you can make much better for money in other Indian Asian restaurants in Grünwald Munich: food and ambience alike. I don't recommend Jaipu...

Everything here was great, but it was quite expensive, it was worth the price. The only thing I missed was to order a stronger sauce for dinner. But with a friendly owner and staff, I found this restaurant a great place to look back.
