If your WEDDING might be at Inglewood, READ THIS. My ceilidh/covers band (The Jiggers) played here again last night for a wedding in their function suite, and we were impressed at the way in which the venue managed a large number of guests. The suite was not especially large, maybe 100-120 or so guests but it was cosy and had a real sense of intimacy and personality. It's hard to define, but I think that the friendly and efficient staff, as well as the nice old building and peaceful surroundings just make it feel like a nice warm and welcoming place to have a wedding. We always judge a venue based on how well they treat the band, and how they seem to be with the bride and groom and the guest...
The rooms were lovely and spacious. We stayed in a large room that could comfortably sleep around 12 guests, with plenty of bedrooms and beds. The property itself was beautiful, complete with a nice kitchen. However, one downside was the lack of basic kitchen supplies. Before us, someone had spilled coffee that ran into the cupboard and got all over the dishes, so we had to wash them before we could use them. I believe the cleaning staff should have checked this beforehand. Additionally, there were no washcloths for cleaning up in the kitchen, no kitchen towels, and only one small towel available for drying dishes.
We stayed in the Maple Lodge for my wife's 40th birthday, and it was fantastic. The lodge had a hot tub and was pet-friendly, which was essential for us. The hot tub was wonderful and provided a perfect way to unwind. We dined at the hotel, and the experience was delightful. David and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely plan to return because we enjoyed our stay so much; it’s a great place to be!
This hotel is stunning, featuring luxurious rooms that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our stay was made even better by the delightful on-site bar and the tasty breakfast included with our stay. I've never stayed here, but eaten here on many occasions. The food is lovely and the dining in the dark is ace. Very tasty food from a great kitchen and great service too. Food drinks: Brilliant food and good service from a close team. Service: 5 Location: 4
I attended a wedding and reception here, so I can't speak to the hotel accommodations or facilities. However, I can rate the service and location: both are a perfect 5. A highlight of the hotel is the stunning view!
What a fantastic wedding venue! The staff and events team were excellent to work with, and the property is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to perform there again!
