Thank you everyone for your awesome reviews. We as a staff have been trying since the beginning to bring back the tradition my family began back in May of 1960. I cannot be grateful enough for your support. We will hopefully continue to be here for many years to come serving the amazing residents of North Haledon and the surrounding communities. I recently moved to North Haledon and was recommended this place from a neighbor. When I say I am happy to have found this deli I cannot stress enough how incredible everything is. The potato salad was like nothing I’ve had before, the roast beef sandwich was to die for. Excellent food and staff. I am so so happy to live in a great town with arguably the state’s best deli.
This place was great a few years ago. It has been sold a few times and was ok. Was in area and tried it out. Food was very good and asked if it was new owners. It was sold back to original owners son. Ham salad sandwich fantastic. Potato salad and German salad great. Friday fish day. As good as it was years ago. Reasonable prices. Great fresh food.
This is a genuine hometown deli. They serve outstanding sandwiches and delicious salads like potato salad and coleslaw. Their egg sandwich on a hard roll is amazing, whether you choose to add Taylor ham or not. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I was a frequent visitor there in the mid 90s and yesterday was my first visit there in 27 years and it hasn’t changed My sandwich was fabulous I will be back.
Awesome German Deli. The best German Potato Salad and rice pudding. Cold cuts, fish on Fridays, an institution and gem in North Haledon
