The prices seemed quite steep for what was offered. I ordered cod fish sticks for $25, and they tasted overwhelmingly oily. While the batter was crispy, it was very thick and lacked flavor, making it unappetizing. My husband tried the strip steak, which cost $39, and it was burnt on the outside while being nearly raw and cold on the inside. Additionally, we only noticed three staff members during our visit. Since we were unfamiliar with the area, we decided to give this place a shot based on the reviews we had read. Where's the greeter? Is there another entrance aside from what I assumed was the main one, where you'd normally find someone welcoming guests? Is this a private establishment that tourists aren't allowed in? Is there a specific dress code? We walked through briefly and didn't feel any warmth or hospitality at all. It almost felt like we had stumbled into a place where we didn't belong or weren't welcomed. My father used to be an excellent golfer from Harvard, Dunstable, and Ayer, MA, as well as Fort Devens, MA. He would have fit right in here, though I can't recall if he ever played at this location. The place has a stunning location and is well-kept and clean inside. It’s been a while since we visited after the change of ownership, and they’ve really done a fantastic job with the renovations. The waitstaff were friendly and quick to serve us water, drinks, and appetizers. However, the food was merely average. We ordered three drinks, two entrees, and an appetizer, which, along with the tip, came to $100. I also noticed that water was served in plastic cups, with only paper napkins and no bread provided. We’ll definitely return, but only for drinks until they can improve the food.

We were shocked at how amazing this place was! I got the haddock that was on special, my boyfriend got the house burger, we shared the potato skins for an appetizer, and the caramel cheesecake for dessert. It was all amazing! The food tasted all so fresh and flavors were amazing. Cocktails were also delicious! Would definitely recommend :
We had a wonderful stay! The food was fantastic, the view was breathtaking, and the hotel had a delightful atmosphere. The following morning, I flew our drone to capture the sunrise around the hotel, and it was impossible not to admire the beautiful surroundings!
