Having enjoyed Innocent Bystander wines before, we booked a weekend lunch here for a treat. The space was huge and the staff were attentive and helpful. We ordered the paella vegetariana $27) and the veganised mushroom pizza bianca $28), the latter of which involved simply removing cheese. Given the premium prices here I thought it was a bit sh*t they didn’t have vegan cheese as an option. The paella was fine, with a few points of interest such as artichoke and eggplant, but really nothing exceptional. There are several vegan options on the menu. We got veganised puttanesca pizza, with vegan mozzarella, fried capers, olives and fresh dill on a great base. The vegan paella is truly delicious with a rich, complex, smokey flavour and loads of veg. (During covid they are doing takeaway, but will bring the food to your car in the car park. Very friendly.

(during the kovid they takeaway, but bring the food to their car in the parking lot. very friendly
