Always stopped here for a glass of wine on the way back to Melbourne from Eildon, Marysville or Alexandra. Very cozy, warm and relaxing area. (Of course summer here is cool) Not so many ppl every time I came here, which was nice. The wine is perfect, I always chose the sparkling things like Prosecco or Moscato, both of them are my fav, but the Moscato is too sweet for me. My friends drank Mea Culpa Syrah, which they said was amazing. Definitely we would come back again and again. Love it. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and attentive.
We had an incredible experience at Innocent Bystander! I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time. I adore the elegant warehouse aesthetic of the establishment, and the plants displayed in flasks are both intriguing and enjoyable to observe. We had lunch, and it was outstanding! The service was prompt, and considering how busy they were, our food arrived surprisingly quickly. We ordered the Paella mixta, Prosciutto mushroom pizza, and Lamb sausage pizza.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Both the dishes and the service are of excellent quality. The roast chicken, accompanied by an amazing sauce, was perfectly cooked—tender and juicy. Another highlight was the paella, which was bursting with flavor and featured delicious seafood. The spicy pork pizza is great as well, though it might be a bit too spicy for some. The service was also outstanding. I will definitely be bringing my friends here!
This restaurant in Healesville is quite popular, so it's a good idea to make a reservation, as it tends to get crowded quickly. The pizzas here are delicious; we tried the prosciutto ham and the Gambus seafood pizza, which had a bit of a spicy kick. The paella is also worth trying. Sexy pizza. Had a mushroom and prosciutto pizza with truffle cheese fries. There were excellent ingredients and flavours that infuse your tastebuds when you bite into the pizza. The wine is also good, not amazing but just average good. The beer and cocktails are also good. I would definitely come back because the pizza isn’t traditional Italian more fusion but it is amazing.
Had an amazing experience at Innocent Bystander for our group of 6 very attentive staff, delicious food (we had the Chef's selection meter board, pizzas, steak and cocktails). On a busy, Sunday service flowed efficiently and all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Will certainly be back again!
Excellent location, right next to Matilda Bay brewery- finding parking can be tedious. Friendly staff, fantastic wines, plenty of seating space inside as well as outside. Pizzas and wine tasting are a must when visit. Also, ask for oil to go with baguette since it’s too dry.
